VisioRead/VisioRead Colour
|
The VisioRead/VisioRead Colour system is a flexible vision inspection systems mainly designed to measure and inspect products, where all acceptable products are identical within some tolerances. The systems are often used for verification of imprint or label number, code reading, assembly verification inspections, defect inspection, and gauging. Further the VisioRead Colour can verify colours, read colour ring codes etc.
The system is designed to be very flexible and at the same time very easy and simple to use. It is operated via an interactive touch screen dialog where the operator manipulates texts and graphics to adjust the system. The menu text is deliverable in several languages. The system complies with the technical requirements of 21 CFR part 11, including audit trail and user administration.
The vision functions in the system includes:
- Reference point finding
- Measuring tools, height, width, distance etc.
- OCR/OCV tool for text reading and verification
- 2D-matrix (Datamatrix) reading and verifying tools, including GS1 decoding. Inline grading according to ISO/IEC 15415 and more.
- Barcode reading and verifying tools (GS1 DataBar (RSS), RSS-14, Code 128, PDF417, pharma code, etc.)
- Pixel counter tools
- Colour verification tools (VisioRead Colour only)
- Colour Codes (VisioRead Colour only)
By combining these tools properly it is possible to create many complex and effective inspections on an unlimited range of products. The system can support several cameras each performing different combinations of inspections. See also Applications.
VisioRead has support for up to 8 high-resolution CCD cameras. Standard image resolutions are 650 x 490 pixels and 1300 x 1024 pixels, mega-pixel support up to 2448 x 2050 pixels.
VisioRead Colour has support for up to 2 high-resolution colour CCD cameras. Standard image resolution is 1024 x 768 RGB pixels, mega-pixel support up to 2448 x 2050 pixels.
The system has Ethernet network connection. The system supports integration where several systems work together or into plant network. Several integration styles exist from simple RS232 to full-blown MES integration. Machine communication through configurable opto inputs (8) and outputs (24).
