The VisioRead/VisioRead Colour system is a flexible vision inspection systems mainly designed to measure and inspect products, where all acceptable products are identical within some tolerances. The systems are often used for verification of imprint or label number, code reading, assembly verification inspections, defect inspection, and gauging. Further the VisioRead Colour can verify colours, read colour ring codes etc.

The system is designed to be very flexible and at the same time very easy and simple to use. It is operated via an interactive touch screen dialog where the operator manipulates texts and graphics to adjust the system. The menu text is deliverable in several languages. The system complies with the technical requirements of 21 CFR part 11, including audit trail and user administration.

The system can support several cameras with each camera performing different combinations of inspections.

OCR/OCV tool for accurate text reading and verification

Reading and verifying 2D-matrix (Datamatrix) codes, including GS1 decoding, with inline grading as per ISO/IEC 15415

Reading and verifying barcodes such as GS1 DataBar (RSS), RSS-14, Code 128, PDF417, and pharma code

The combination of these tools facilitates the creation of intricate and efficient inspections across an extensive array of products. The system supports multiple cameras, with each camera capable of performing distinct inspection combinations.

Technical Specifications:

VisioRead supports up to 8 high-resolution CCD cameras.

Standard image resolutions include 650 x 490 pixels and 1300 x 1024 pixels, with mega-pixel support reaching up to 2448 x 2050 pixels.

VisioRead Colour accommodates up to 2 high-resolution color CCD cameras.

Standard image resolution is 1024 x 768 RGB pixels, with mega-pixel support extending to 2448 x 2050 pixels.

The system integrates with Ethernet networks, enabling collaboration between systems or seamless integration into plant networks.

Integration options range from basic RS232 communication to comprehensive MES integration.

Machine communication is facilitated through configurable opto inputs (8) and outputs (24).
