Standard products for multiple applications

Vision Automation A/S designs, develops, manufactures and markets a family of highly flexible machine vision systems - systems that enable machines to 'see' - which are used to automate a wide range of manufacturing processes where vision is required. Vision Automation has since its foundation in 1988 installed more than 1000 vision systems.

The systems are used to solve a wide variety of industrial guidance, gauging, inspection, identification and sorting tasks - at up to thousands of parts per minute. Inspection tasks may include OCR/OCV, 1D and 2D-code reading, colour verification, precision alignment, assembly verification, general defect inspection etc.

Most of our systems are installed in the pharmaceutical industry where they are used to inspect tablets, ampoules, syringes, labels, cartons, texts, codes and a lot more. Our systems are developed and manufactured to meet the special requirements of pharmaceutical industry for creating documented evidence that a system does exactly what it is required to do.

Our systems are used in many other manufacturing industries where they inspect ice-cream sticks and chopsticks, meat, toys, wine bottles, beer barrels, plastic waste, silicon wafers, car brake blocks and many others. The products are inspected at many different stages in the production process from raw material to packaged product.

The systems have been designed to combine ease-of-use with the power and flexibility of sophisticated vision systems. Our systems are undergoing continuous development to ensure that equipment and methods are 'state-of-the-art' and that newest regulatory requirements are met - such as 21 CFR Part 11.
